This trade quality scraper features a durable, hardened stainless steel blade with minimal flexibility to enable it to tackle lumps and other difficult to remove material. The full tang blade extends all the way through the handle to prevent it snapping at the union between blade and handle, giving it a much longer lifetime than half tang DIY scrapers. These slant cut fitch brushes are made from 100% synthetic filaments for smooth paint application and cut to an angled profile for the optimum surface contact angle, giving precision and control. They are ideal anywhere that precise paint application is required or access is tricky, including touching up small scuffs, detail work such as window frames or around switches and sockets, narrow spots such as tight or recessed corners and awkward spots such as cabinets or behind pipework. Suitable for all paint types including emulsions, gloss and satin, as well as woodstains and varnishes, the synthetic filaments make achieving a sharper painting or cutting line easier than pure bristle and the narrow fitch head enables this without the need for masking tape. The head is balanced with a long, flat, lightweight wooden handle, making the brush easy to use and manipulate.

Surface contaminants reduce the adhesion performance of paint, woodstain or varnish and lead to flaking and cracking. These tack cloths are an essential part of getting surfaces in tiptop condition before painting: they're impregnated with a special lightly tacky resin that efficiently picks up any loose dust, lint, dirt and other debris that's often not visible to the naked eye. They're ideally used after sanding painted and bare wood surfaces and in other situations where dust needs to be cleared without using water. No heavy duty scrubbing is required: tack cloths are highly effective after one or two light wipes and unlike dusters or standard cleaning cloths, they don't return any dust to the surface, they remove it and hold on to it, leaving no surface tack or residue. At 30” x 16” (76cm x 41cm) approx. each cloth has plenty of capacity for even large areas.
