Part Time General Assistant – Horfield

Salary £13,384.80 plus overtime, bonus and benefits

Hours:

  • 22.5 hours to be worked over 3 days:
  • One weekday between 7:30am and 5:30pm
  • Saturdays from 8:00am to 5:00pm
  • Sundays from 10.00am to 4.00pm
  • Annual stocktake weekend
  • Some Bank Holidays

 

Main requirements of job:

  • Customer service skills essential
  • Organisation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of building products desirable
  • Literacy / Numeracy skills

Main tasks of the job:

  • Serve customers quickly and efficiently, ensuring paperwork is completed fully and correctly
  • Assisting customers with queries
  • Taking and processing customers telephoned orders
  • Picking orders and loading company vehicles ready for delivery
  • Loading and unloading supplier vehicles
  • Moving and arranging stock both manually and using mechanical lifting equipment
