The DCD100 Dewalt Combi Drill has been released to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Dewalt company by Raymond E. DeWalt in 1924 after he invented the radial arm saw a precursor to the mitre saw. The DCD100P2 is part of a range of 100 year anniversary launches from Dewalt and offers a trade alternative to the DCD100M1T-GB and DCD100M2T-GB with lower 4ah batteries. This compact and versatile combi includes a massive range of functions and features that will make the one to be part of your tool set. As well as including a brushless motor, the DCD100P2 includes a 2-speed transmission delivering up to 1650rpm.
Combined the motor along with the transmission allows the drill to deliver an impressive 68m torque. With 15-position adjustable torque control allows for consistent screwdriving while the all metal transmission supports the increase in power levels to ensure a premium quality of performance. Compact and impressively lightweight, the limited edition grey design includes a bright LED work light that helps when working in low light situations along with an ergonomic and comfortable gip design that lets you use the drill for longer.
At the heart of the drill is the brushless motor that allows you to use it efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently. The technology in creating a brushless motor system allows for perfect symmetry between battery power and usage ensuring you get all the power you need, when you need it.
